Our Sustainability Strategy

Colgate-Palmolive is committed to a healthier future for all people, their pets and our planet. We're accelerating climate action, reducing our environmental footprint and collaborating to eliminate waste, decrease plastic use, save water and conserve resources. Our strategy focuses on three ambitions: Driving Social Impact, Helping Millions of Homes and Preserving Our Environment, as we reimagine a sustainable world.

of our packaging is recyclable, reusable or compostable, as of December 31, 2024, up from 89.5% the previous year.

In 2024, we signed a long-term virtual power purchase agreement for a wind farm in Europe, which is expected to cover the equivalent of approximately 60% of our Europe-based operational electricity needs.

Our recyclable tube is accessible in over 70 countries.

 

In a proactive effort to reach our target of making all our packaging recyclable, reusable, or compostable since 2019, we have transitioned approximately 75% of our toothpaste SKUs globally and about 95% of our toothpaste tubes in North America to recyclable tubes as of December 31, 2024. The recyclable tube is now accessible in over 70 countries worldwide.*
